Motor Plates

Description

These two plates when installed into the chassis with the transmission provide extra support for the transmission and increased rigidity to the rear of the chassis for today’s higher horsepowered Volkswagens. These RLR motor plates are universal to our RLR built chassis and can be changed out to accommodate various styles of Volkswagen transmissions.

The front plate  bolts to the 5 top gear carrier studs on the trans to secure the upper portion of the transmission and is internally milled for maximum strength and minimal weight. The rear motor plate is plate is secured to the transmission to index the motor plate with the trans case to ensure correct starter alignment
