RLR first raised & narrowed rear torsion housing back in 1990. Today it has become a safety and performance standard for all VW pan cars. Lowering you cars center of gravity approx. 4”, narrowing the rear axles and narrowing the torsion 3” per side will allow the use of stock width rear fenders. By narrowing rear wheel track we greatly increase stability and handling. This is without a doubt the closest you can get to a chassis car with a VW floor pan.
