Pan Halves Installation:
We start by removing the bad pan halves at the factory attachment points. We fully prep, clean and detail the areas to receive new pan halves. Next we trim all panels for a precision fit. Then we MIG weld at the factory attachment points to ensure strength and integrity.
Pan Labor Starts around $480 and varies based on damage of old pans and does not include the cost of replacement pans. All price quotes are based on removing the body and installing the pans.

Torsion Raise & Narrow
Torsion Housing Raise & Narrow
RLR first raised & narrowed rear torsion housing back in 1990. Today it has become a safety and performance standard for all VW pan cars.
Lowering you cars center of gravity approx. 4”, narrowing the rear axles and narrowing the torsion 3” per side will allow the use of stock width rear fenders. By narrowing rear wheel track we greatly increase stability and handling. This is without a doubt the closest you can get to a chassis car with a VW floor pan.
Includes torsion housing plates and all transmission mounts. Price quote is for body off the pan. Starting at $1,560.00

Bus Box Transmission Mount
Swing Axle To Bus Box Transmission Conversion
We convert your VW Type I transmission mounts to accept the larger, stronger bus gear box. Weld in 3/8 CNC cut steel mid mount and (2) rear mounting plates with spacers and hardware. Our installed transmission mount raise your bus box 1” to lower your cars center of gravity and maintain correct rear wheel chamber.

Type 3 to Type 1 Front End Conversion
Type III to Type I Front End Conversion
We start by removing original Type III bulkhead at factory attachments points. Provide a clean prepped OEM German Type I bulkhead. Calculate & chamber cut. Then weld the new bulkhead into position. And now it is ready to bolt a Type I front beam in place.
